Bluebonnets is currently closed for some culinary updates, stay tuned!
The Texas Hill Country is known for its endless patches of wild bluebonnet flowers that bloom annually in the springtime. Former U.S. First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson, encouraged planting native flowers including bluebonnets along the state highways in Texas after she left the White House. The bluebonnet has come to signify the robust spirit of Texas and natural bounty of the land.
Bluebonnets offers fresh-made and innovative farm-to-counter salads and sandwiches, delicious homemade soups, and other healthy snacks. We have selected local farms to supply us with high quality, fresh produce. With a Hill Country nod to the women of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America who won a legislative battle over their male counterparts to make the bluebonnet the official state flower of Texas, our salads and sandwiches are named after some of the most famous American female country music artists.
